PC World Business

How can you convince small businesses to put their faith in your new Remote I.T. Management service? They can't hold it, touch it or see it; it only exists on the Internet. So how are you going to get those businesses - always very careful with their money - reaching for their chequebooks? You make it tangible. You make it friendly and approachable. You call it Colin.

That's what JDA did for PC World Business. We created Colin, the virtual I.T. guy, as the recognisable face of their technical support services. He's a bit of a computer nerd, but you know you can trust him to get the job done. And he did - in PC World's catalogues, in their stores and in their national press advertising.

He even got to work as part of their website, with his very own offshoot site. It was developed in a way that allowed simple integration with the existing site, so it was easy for customers to find him. And he had his own campaign URLs and banner ads so that visitors could be tracked and driven to the appropriate content.
