When Fat Face needed to increase response and reduce costs, JDA came up with a simple mailing to target cold prospects. It was a chance to kick back and focus on a brand that had created its own unique philosophy and style.
In place of the main catalogue we designed a new mailing with just a selection of best selling items. Our aim was to whet the customers' appetites and encourage them to buy online or by phone.
To encourage response, we incentivised the first order with free postage, packing and returns. That way, customers could try the clothes for nothing. What's more, as a cost-effective way to gather new customers, we produced a recommend a friend leaflet. And a series of press inserts were used to increase brand awareness and encourage people to give Fat Face a try.
