JDA has worked with The Car Shop Megastore since October 2005. To differentiate them from the competition, first we developed a strong value-led proposition - the Lowest Price Guarantee. Our new brand icon 'Baggy' helped create a friendly, easily recognisable look and feel for all their communications - including outdoor media, press, door to door and TV.
JDA also devised a media strategy that has given The Car Shop Megastore valuable additional coverage for the same year on year marketing spend. We negotiated cost-effective local TV advertising for each branch, reduced production costs on radio and maximised sponsorship opportunities.
The result was a staggering 21.3% increase on footfall year on year (2005-2006). This success contributed to The Car Shop Megastore opening another store in 2007 and more are planned, making them a truly national brand.
